So far my major has been somewhat interesting but lots of prerequisites that I’m not necessarily interested in. Chemistry has been difficult but I surprisingly enjoy it more than bio classes

If you want to major in this, it generally should be because you have specific research interests within biology as a whole. Be prepared to study hard, and become a jack of all trades.

I am majoring specifically in microbiology. There’s a lot of concept and requires understanding and memorization. I would recommend it for any premed as the major requirements aligns perfectly with med school.

It is a lot of information to memorize and you definitely have to study a lot but I think the content is interesting
