Biology(Biological Sciences)

I am majoring specifically in microbiology. There’s a lot of concept and requires understanding and memorization. I would recommend it for any premed as the major requirements aligns perfectly with med school.

I am actually majoring in computational biology but I feel like it is pretty similar in the requirements and I feel like its super fun with problem solving as well as real-world impact.

Open up avenues to several careers and also prepares you for medical school. Plethora of research opportunities

So far my major has been somewhat interesting but lots of prerequisites that I’m not necessarily interested in. Chemistry has been difficult but I surprisingly enjoy it more than bio classes

If you want to major in this, it generally should be because you have specific research interests within biology as a whole. Be prepared to study hard, and become a jack of all trades.

It is a lot of information to memorize and you definitely have to study a lot but I think the content is interesting

The professors were great. Classes may be difficult but you will get through it!
