About this major
Real Estate Development focuses on the planning, design, financing, and construction of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Students learn about urban planning, project management, and real estate finance, preparing them to oversee development projects from inception to completion.

The reason why I chose the major of real estate development is that my family's business is related to the construction industry. What I like most is to visit the construction site in person and see how the houses are built, while what I dislike most is the calculation of cooperative tax rates and cash flow. Because of the knowledge about real estate I learned at school, it has become very easy for me to work in my family's company after graduation.
