Careers & next stepsPositive

I’m hoping to pursue a career in investing or strategy after graduation, and eventually attend law school and move into public service. Studying Economics and Mathematics has helped me build both sides of that skill set: economics gives me a framework for understanding markets, incentives, and policy, while mathematics strengthens the analytical thinking I’ll need to evaluate businesses and solve complex problems. The major has also helped me see how quantitative analysis can be applied beyond finance, especially to questions involving policy and decision-making.
