Behavioral Psychology is the study of how humans and animals learn and modify behaviors in response to their environments. Students in this major explore theories of learning, conditioning, and behavioral change, preparing them for roles in research, clinical, and applied settings.
“My major’s actually Behavioral Economics and Psychology, and I came to USC because I love the subject. The coursework is fairly manageable and the content is super interesting, although by design there can’t be much hands on learning unless you do it outside of class. But I would recommend it! There are a lot of different pathways into the business sector, medicine, etc. so you’re not boxed in right away.”
