I think its pretty math heavy but it opens your eyes to a lot in terms of how the world works.

Fun major but better is the people that you meet through the classes and clubs.

In my first year experience in undergrad, Electrical Engineering has been very difficult. But there is strong community and opportunity to grow as an engineer. Additionally, there are many resources to help with challenging aspects of physics, math, and computer science. Ultimately, the weeder classes are very concept heavy and have little involvement in what you will actually do as an engineer.

It’s fun as hell. I love circuits and design work requires creativity. Even simulations are fun. All intellectually stimulating. EEs at ucla are awesome.

Fun as hell. Simulations rock. Electronics are fun. Anyone can learn. Lots and lots of creative problem solving. People are generally nice. Teamwork required. Opens up many fields. It’s a little broad so a portion of ppl go to grad school but on the job training is equally important.

Its mathematically intensive and quite physics heavy I would recommend it to people with a strong aptitude to creating things involving electronics
