in my school it’s like 1/3 cs 2/3 math but i think you get a good enough foundation in cs for a swe job but also a good foundation in math to pursue math in grad school. It’s very flexible

If you enjoy math and computer science I would recommend this major. It is much more applied than pure math, so this major would be perfect if you want to go into industry rather than academics.

It’s a good major to experience computer science and determine if it’s the right field for you rather than directly going into computer science and finding out. Additionally, it’s more flexible as you can minor in something else.
