Computer science can be a jack-of-all-trades major. I'd say you have to be very conscious of the material you're learning to find what you really enjoy and make the most out of the major. It takes time though.
It surprised me how little the actual classes felt to be useful to what I imagined computer science to be. I found much more enjoyment and learning opportunities outside of the classroom, in my own personal projects or competitions hosted. It feels as though the major is outdated to the current world and is in need of a shakeup.
It is very very very very very very very very very cool.
